The Body Deli Review

I absolutely love the products offered at The Body Deli. Therefore, I was glad to have the opportunity to try out their Blueberry Fusion Resurfacing Facial Wash ($38). It is formulated with fresh blueberry, acai fruit puree and fruit based alpha-hydroxy acids; making it a powerful anti-aging cleanser! It is jam-packed with phyto-nutrients such as antioxidants, carotenoids, anthocyanins and polyphenols. Alpha hydroxy acids work as an exfoliant, they cause the cells of the epidermis to become "unglued" allowing the dead skin cells to slough off, making room for regrowth of new skin. Alpha hydroxy acids help stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Alpha hydroxy acids are also effective in improving wrinkling, roughness, and mottled pigmentation due to photo-damaged skin.

It makes my face feel soft and gives me a radiant glow. It will sting a little if you're experiencing any minor irritations on your face. I bought African Black Soap from Coastal Scents and it irritated my face a little (still a great product though!). I used the Blueberry Fusion Resurfacing Facial Wash a day later and it stung due to the acids (Malic Acid, Citric Acid and Lactic Acid). So keep that in mind if you're thinking about using this cleanser if you have any slight irritations!

Note: Blueberry Fusion Cleanser is designed to be used in intervals of 30 days. Use the resurfacing cleanser for the first 30 days and then alternate with your other Body Deli cleanser of choice such as the Almond Milk ($22), Rose Geranium ($22) or Sage and Grapefruit Cleanser ($22). Apply 3-4 pumps to wet skin, gently massage and thoroughly remove with warm water. Pat dry. Avoid eye area. Shake well before each use.
